140g / 1+3/4 cups rolled oats (gluten-free) (OR sprouted oat groats)

120g / 1/2 cup apple sauce (unsweetened) (OR other fruit puree)

50g / 1 cup puffed rice (unsweetened) (OR crumbled rice cakes)

100g / 1/2 cup healthy FAT (ghee, cold-pressed coconut oil, etc.)

30g / 1 cup dried fruit (unsweetened)

35g / 1/4 cup maple syrup (OR coconut sugar / xylitol / date sugar)

40g / 1/2 cup dried coconut (unsweetened)

(optional) 30g / 1/4 cup any seeds (sprouted/soaked)

(optional) 1/4 tsp sea salt / natural salt

(optional) 1 tsp vanilla extract / paste

Mix together the applesauce, sweetener, salt, and vanilla, then cook over medium heat until half the water content has evaporated off.

Add the coconut oil, mix well, then add all remaining ingredients except the dried fruit.

Spread this mixture evenly over a large baking pan, then bake at 325F / 163 C for 15 minutes.

Stir the granola to ensure even baking, turn the pan 180 degrees, then bake for an additional 10 minutes. Turn off the oven and let the granola cool inside, leaving the oven door open slightly.

Once the granola has cooled, mix in the dried apple chunks, then store in an air-tight container until ready to eat. Works great over non-dairy yogurt, as a breakfast cereal, or just as a snack on its own.

-sprouted oat milk (non-GMO, ideally homemade and raw)
-sprouted rice milk (non-GMO, ideally homemade and raw)
-raw cow/goat milk (from grass-fed animals)
